My Doll and I Learn About Being Resourceful

Saturday, March 9, 2024   10:00 AM - Noon

International Quilt Museum
1523 North 33 St.
Lincoln, NE 68583

Join your friends and American Girl dolls Molly and Emily as we learn about life in the 1940s. We'll learn about how Molly dealt with the challenges during WWII by being resourceful and finding fun in life.

The children will make a Scotty dog bookmark and create a collage from recycled materials. Games and snacks from the period will be included. The workshop is related to the International Quilt Museum’s exhibition “Feedsacks: An American Fairytale.”

The children are encouraged to bring along their favorite doll.
